People often ask me why I chose “Blue Potato” as a name. It was simply generated from a Facebook thingy. I have since adopted Captain Keith and the Blue Potatoes as a band ministry name as I work with kids. The thing about potatoes, is that they come in all shapes and sizes as well as abilities. So as each student walks through music

People often ask me why I chose “Blue Potato” as a name. It was simply generated from a Facebook thingy. I have since adopted Captain Keith and the Blue Potatoes as a band ministry name as I work with kids. The thing about potatoes, is that they come in all shapes and sizes as well as abilities. So as each student walks through music with me, they create their own identity and style. Just like a potato...tater tots, baked, fried, wedges....and the list goes on, the connection is made in my view. Why not name a Music store with the same identity? It’s odd, but it is who I am...odd.
